This is a short film I made for my Video 30 class, and it’s about a boy who struggles moving a load of boxes up the stairs. When he tries to take more than he can carry, he fails. When he takes one at a time, he realizes he will never finish as it will take forever. How will he fix this problem? Generally this is a metaphor for how people get weighed down by all their duties in life and have trouble finding ways to tackle them. Not my best but it served its purpose for my first Video project of this semester. This was filmed with the Canon EOS 60D at 24fps, utilizing a 50mm 0.45m/1.5ft lens and an EFS 18-200mm 0.45m/1.5ft lens. Much like Canon 7d short films, the 60D films in 1080p HD video. Edited and colour corrected in Final Cut Pro. Directed, filmed, & edited by Akash Sherman Starring: Tim Choy Songs used: “No Cars Go” – Maxcence Cyrin (cover or Arcade Fire) “Kids” – Maxcence Cyrin (cover of MGMT) The songs used in this video are not mine and I do not claim that they are my property. They are the property of the artists listed above. I merely am using them to embellish my own work while crediting them and advertising it.

Nella versione originale francese, i dialoghi del film sono in verlan – un tipico gergo parigino che consiste nell’inversione delle sillabe di una parola per crearne una nuova -
